The man that shows in ISIL beheading videos has finally been identified as confirmed by two U.S officials and two congressional.

The identity of Jihadi John remains a mystery until Thursday, when his voice became hauntingly clear as the earlier confirmed British accent get a name attached to it other than the “mask man”.

The officials claim his name is Mohammed Emwazi, a Kuwaiti-born Londoner. He is believed to have travelled to Syria in 2012 and later to have joined ISIS there.

Even with a name and face for the man behind the mask, uncertainty still swirled Thursday. London police and British officials declined to confirm his identity. Officials from a London-based human rights and Muslim advocacy organization who’ve interacted with Emwazi said they couldn’t be 100% certain it was him. (according to CNN).

Just earlier this week, three teenage Uk girls travelled to join ISIS which leaves the question of : what inspires them to join this terrorist group??

Emwazi was born in Kuwait in 1988 and moved to the United Kingdom when he was 6 years old.
He studied at the University of Westminster in London and graduated in 2009 with a degree in computer programming. Emwazi had hoped that with this degree, he could build a successful career in Arab countries, as he was fluent in Arabic, English and had a British accent.
