Shortly after King Abdullah, about 90 died on Friday morning after a short illness was buried, Saudi Arabi’s new king, King Salman 79 pledges continuity in the kingdom.
King Salman made his first public statement as the new monarch by promising to foster unity and solidarity in the country and walk in the straight path of late king Abdullah who was buried in an unmarked grave.
King Salman names his nephew, Interior Minister Prince Mohammed bin Nayef, 55 as second in line to the throne behind Crown Prince Moqren, 69.
