Pervez Musharraf accused of treason by Pakistan’s court

Former Military leader Pervez Musharraf has been indicted by Pakistan court for treason. Pervez who ruled Pakistan following a 1999 coup

till 2008 has been charged of five offenses during his hearing in court in Islamabad on Monday, 31/3/2014 including Subverting, suspending

and changing the country’s constitution, sacking Pakistan’s Chief Justice and imposing emergency rule. He pleaded not guilty to each

charges. He claimed that the country grew and prospered under his tenure.
